As an Account Manager Dutch market you are responsible for the preparation and execution of the short and long-term sales objectives in the region.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Advise customers on DORC products and services, including product application, delivery, and after-sales support.
- Develop and execute territory sales plans.
- Cultivate existing customer relationships and expand sales contacts.
- Identify untapped markets and potential clients through market research and analysis.
- Develop and implement strategies to penetrate new markets and acquire new clients.
- Organize product demonstrations and attend conferences.
- Collaborate with the customer service team to maintain high customer satisfaction.
- Report product quality issues and qualify sales leads.
- Achieve sales targets and manage special projects.
- Develop key opinion leader groups within the territory.
- Provide basic service, maintenance, and software upgrades.
Skills and knowledge:
- You have 3+ years of relevant experience in Ophthalmology surgical environment;
- Preferably have proven experience in Vitreoretinal surgeries;
- You have experience in working in an OR and understand OR Protocol, Surgical Health and Safety Guidelines and Procedures;
- College degree in Business or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience as Medtech Engineer or Nurse is a plus;
- Experience in sales and managing indirect sales channels is preferred
- You are a fluent in Dutch and English
