Supply Chain Planner, Peregrine Surgical, a division of DORC International

As an Supply Chain Planner you will be involved in the management of article master data and creation of production and capacity plans. This position manages inventory levels for WIP and finished goods in order to meet company goals for on time delivery, turns and fill rates. The role will also administer the logistics processes, schedules of the production plan for material requirements and planning needs for medium and long term and adequate stock control.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Management of article master data.
  • Checking article data. Modification of master data in the systems. Analysis of the changes and taking actions if necessary. Making calculations for the cost prices.
  • Drawing up capacity plans.
  • Drawing up the production plan based on the sales plan. Generation of capacity plans per department. Making MRP calculations. Keeping track of forecasts and anticipating them.
  • Delivery of production orders.
  • Determine and release production needs. Deliver production orders per period per production department. Discussing the planning with the department heads. Follow-up of progress and monitoring lead times.
  • Provision of purchasing-related information.
  • Providing information from the production plan for the material requirement, planning in the medium and long term and determining the purchasing requirement per period.
  • Corrective with regard to delivery times of orders. Assesses and determines purchasing needs and monitors orders.
  • Generating the weekly order report with the action list for CSC, sales and production. Providing a rolling overview for management reporting. Proactively identifying bottlenecks and opportunities, as well as initiating action.
  • Monitoring the stock.
  • Generate overviews to monitor stock values. Steering for deviations, so that the stock remains within the predetermined bandwidth.
  • Planning of product introductions.
  • Logistical guidance of the introduction of new products and product changes, within the framework of the introduction project plan.
  • Supporting projects in the field of logistics.

To be successful in this role, you have:

  • Bachelor Degree in related field, preferably supplemented by APIX
  • 3-5 work experience in a related field
  • Experience with ERP systems such as Sage, IFS or SAP
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written
  • A solution-oriented, stress resistant and flexible character
