As Sales & Application Manager it is your responsibility to drive revenue growth in your designated territory and to ensure that product mix and profitability targets are reached. You will work in close collaboration with the Regional Sales Director and manage the new and existing distributors. Your deep understanding of the market will help you to implement winning strategies together and with your thorough product knowledge you will provide regular product training and support product demonstrations with co-visits to customers. You will be DORC’s main point of contact in case of resolving commercial, quality, regulatory or technical issues within the territory.
That sounds like a challenging job, but what are your responsibilities?
You will:
- Demonstrate all DORC products in Operating Room, during training, co-visit, and during congresses;
- Support and advise surgeons on the use of our products;
- Participate at key account surgeries;
- Gather, analyze and share all relevant information on markets development, competition, customers and products in your territory;
- Identify risk and opportunities in the market and propose and execute strategies and action plans to manage them;
- Establish, develop and maintain KOL relationships within the territory;
- Ensure that all DORC activities are in compliance with local legislation;
- Give application and after sales support;
- Support the Regional Sales Director in Asia upon request
- Ensure distributor compliance with DORC’s:
- distributor guidelines and general conduct requirements
- product knowledge, marketing initiatives and product launches
About you:
- You have 5-8 years of relevant experience in Ophthalmology surgical environment;
- You have experience in working in an OR and understand OR Protocol, Surgical Health and Safety Guidelines and Procedures;
- College degree in Business or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience as Medtech Engineer or Nurse is a plus;
- Experience in sales and managing indirect sales channels is preferred;
- You are a fluent in Thai and English;
- This position is based in Thailand and you are willing to travel with high frequency within the territory;
- You are a strategic thinker, a team player with a high level of integrity and you have a large dose of self-management and organizational skills.
